<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element capable of broadening the bandwidth of a reflection characteristic thereof with respect to the optical element which condenses beams emitted from a laser beam source to an optical fiber. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the optical element 3 which condenses beams emitted from the laser beam source 1 to the optical fiber 2, the thickness of an antireflective film 6 disposed on an in-plane position of an optical functional surface 3a of the optical element 3 is set thinner on an outer circumferential area 6b than that on a paraxial region 6a and, thereby, the bandwidth of a reflection characteristic of the optical element can be broadened.
