PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated structure capable of suppressing both acceleration and displacement. SOLUTION: In this base-isolated structure in which an upper structure 3 is base-isolated and supported with a base-isolating device 2 installed in a base-isolating story 6, a flexible story 7 with stiffness lower than the story stiffness of the other stories of the upper structure 3 and higher than the story stiffness of the base-isolating story 6 is installed in the low story section of the upper structure 3. In the base-isolating story 6, a rotary inertial mass damper 4 and additive damping 5 are installed in parallel with the base-isolating device 2.
