<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that has satisfactory cooling efficiency and reduces costs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 11 includes: a drive mechanism 24 having: a drive frame 44 with a shaft 43 that has a hollow structure 48; and a rotary body 42 that is fitted to the shaft 43 and rotates around the shaft 43.
