<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance relative positioning accuracy between a cover side and a device, located on the body side, when the cover is closed to the body side, and to relax the impact received by the device located on the cover side with respect to closing operation. <P>SOLUTION: The housing structure includes: its body frame 8 wherein an image forming part 2 etc., are housed; an upper frame 9, freely openably/closably supported by a support shaft 9a journaled by the body frame 8, and holding an optical writing device for performing optical writing with, respect to the image forming part 2 etc.; and a movable receiving member 14 which is brought into contact with the upper frame 9 for positioning the upper frame to the body frame 8. The movable receiving member 14 is positioned by the positioning part 16 of the body frame 8, while being energized by a spring 15 for energizing the member toward the upper frame 9; a support member 10 for press-supporting the upper frame 9 to the body frame 8, which is brought into contact with the contact surface 14b of the movable receiving member 14, while being energized by an energizing member 12 for energizing the support member 10 toward the body frame 8; and the spring 15 is set to energize with the energizing force which is larger than that of the energizing member 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
