摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress, when connecting a generator 20 to an engine 18, for example, by spline fitting, generation of noise in a spline fitting part while avoiding wasteful increase in fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation fluctuation state of the engine 18 is detected during its operation (step S5), and the generator 20 is controlled to increase and decrease the driving torque in conformation thereto (S7) to generate a just enough driving torque for maintaining the contact between teeth in the spline fitting part.
