PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent connecting element of a side cable to track crosses and an efficient rim protection member, in an anti-skid chain consisting of a continuous chain mesh with track crosses and a side cable fitted on a tire side when mounted. SOLUTION: In an anti-skid chain consisting of a continuous chain mesh with track crosses 2 and a side cable 10 fitted on a tire side when mounted, the track cross 2 has a hook 5 to be hooked to at least one chain link of the side cable. Each hook 5 has a rim protection cover 11 for surrounding the hook 5 and at least one chain link. The rim protection cover 11 surrounds each chain link of the side cable, and a part of the hook 5 to be connected to the track cross 2 is protruded from the rim protection cover 11.
