PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable sound level meter which can prevent penetration of water, dust and the like into a body case. SOLUTION: The portable sound level meter includes an O ring 11 of an elastomer which is attached to a preamplifier case 3 of a microphone 4, and a keytop 15 of the elastomer which projects from an opening 13 of the body case 6, with an aperture. The O ring 11 eliminates a gap between the preamplifier case 3 and the body case 6, while a flange part 15a formed in the peripheral edge part of the keytop 15 eliminates a gap between the body case 6 and a printed circuit board 12, being held/pressed by the body case 6 and the printed circuit board 12.
