PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive impact absorption/sound absorption material with a simple structure, capable of exhibiting sound-absorption property without impairing impact absorption property, attaining adjustment of a range of frequency, i.e., a sound absorption object and being not bulky. SOLUTION: A plastic sheet 31 is arranged on one surface of a rib structure body 21, having a plurality of cells 27 divided with a rib, and having cells 27 opened at both ends, and the cells 27 are covered with the plastic sheet 31. On the plastic sheet 31, a cut-in piece 33 bent into the corresponding cell 27A is provided on a portion corresponding to at least one cell 27A in the rib structure body 21 and sound absorption characteristic is adjusted by bending of the cut-in piece 33 into the cell 27A.
