PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamp pad which enables the opening/closing operation of a lid body to be easily performed, prevents an accidental rotation of a locking member, to prevent drying of ink and ink leakage. SOLUTION: In the stamp pad, a lid body 2 is freely openably/closably pivoted to one side edge of a base box 1 housing an ink absorber 4 therein, a locking member 5 for locking the lid body is attached to the other side edge, and the lid body 2 is detachably angaged with the base box 1 when closing the lid. When the locking member 5 is rotated so as to release the lock, a releasing piece 2a formed on the lid body 2 and a releasing projection piece 5a formed on the locking member 5 are engaged with each other, and the engaging state of the main box 1 and the lid body 2 is released. Consequently, when the locking member is rotated to release the locked state, the releasing piece formed on the lid body is engaged with the releasing projection piece formed on the locking member, to release the engaging state between the base box and the lid body, with simple opening/closing operation of the lid body.
