<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support system of an electronic circuit board which enables a designer to narrow down an item to be examined in the design of the electronic circuit board with electronic components mounted to a board. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The design support system 1 of the electronic circuit board with the electronic components mounted to the board includes: an initial state database 11 in which initial state information has been stored; a transition state database 12 in which transition state information has been stored; and an electric characteristic database 13 in which electric characteristic information has been stored. The initial state information is information regarding a matter to be determined before starting the manufacturing of the electronic circuit board about the board, the electronic components, manufacturing conditions, the transition state information is information representing a result of appearance evaluation in an intermediate process, and the electric characteristic information is information indicating electric characteristics of the completed electronic circuit board. Then, the design support system is provided with an operation means 14 for classifying the electronic components by an item required to be examined among the initial state information based on the transition state information and the electric characteristic information.
