<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for common management of log file which can determine a processing result, perform unitary management of log information and automatically take corresponding measures. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A system for common management of log file commonly manages a log file that is the processing result of a business processing program. The system includes: a common log file-generating module 102 for generating the log file in a common format from the business program that executes business processing; a log collection program 104 for reading the log file generated by the common log file-generating module 102 and storing it in a processing result log table 106 for unitary management; and a log analysis-next processing determination program 107 for determining whether a fault occurs based on the contents of the log file stored in the log table 106, automatically executing recovery processing at the presence of the fault, and sending mail with the contents of the fault to a previously set destination at the absence of the fault.
