<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components and to simplify a structure, in a card processor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A card 3, whose long side 3b is inserted in a card insertion port 8, falls through a card-carrying path 10 in an attitude, as it is, due to own weight, and data of the card 3 are processed, in a state where the card is supported by a support part 13a. By moving a press member 24 in the arrow C direction, after the data processing, the press part 24 depresses an upper end part of the long side 3b of the card 3 to the arrow C direction. The lower end part of the long side 3b of the card 3 is locked to a lock part 19a of a lock member 19 so that the card 3 is inverted opposite in the clockwise direction, and moves on a card discharge port 18 side along an inclined face 19b of the lock member 19.
