<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine which can obtain more appropriate information about the sewing work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sewing machine 1 includes a CPU 11 which detects input of thread cutting switch 22, an EEPROM 14 capable of storing information associating a worker cord arranged respectively for a plurality of operators with worker attribute items where achievement of every operator can be registered, and a control panel 30 by which the operator can select his/her worker code. The EEPROM 14 stores the sewing finish time of each sewing work as a work record data in relation with the worker code, associating it with the worker cord. Through the control panel 30, addition of the worker attribute item and input of the parameter value of the worker attribute item are possible. The CPU 11 adds up the sewing number of sheets from items such as worker attribute items selected with an item choice screen as a standard.
