PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in regard to a refrigerator having a storage case freely taken in/out to/from the inside of a storage compartment. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 includes the storage case 20 placed on a placement part 6a within the storage compartment 2 and moved between the storage position and drawing-out position to enable taking-in/out and a container lid 30 for opening/closing the front face of the storage case 20 in accordance with taking-in/out of the storage case 20. An inclination part 21 having a front side lowered is provided in the storage case 20, and the container lid 30 has a first sliding part 31 slid with respect to the inclination part 21. When the storage case 20 drawn out is pressed to a predetermined position, the first sliding part 31 is slid with respect to the inclination part 21 owing to the dead weight of the container lid 30, so as to retract the storage case 20 to the storage position.
