PURPOSE: A hot rolling system and a controlling method thereof are provided to prevent super cooling of a material flowed in to a finish milling unit, and to normally operate a finish milling. CONSTITUTION: A hot rolling system(100) comprises a rough milling unit(110), a winding unit(120) and a finish milling unit(130). The rough milling unit roughly mills a heated material. The winding unit winds the material milled by the rough milling unit. The finish milling unit finish-mills the material winded and loosened by the winding material. The winding speed of the winding unit changes from a first speed to a second speed which is more faster than the first speed.
