<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which the remaining water content is reduced to obtain good power generation efficiency, and to provide a separator for the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is characterized by including: a gas diffusion layer 113 to diffuse a reactant gas fed to a membrane-electrode assembly 11; the separator 121 including a gas feed channel 121a-1 which is put on the gas diffusion layer 113 and through which the reactant gas fed to the gas diffusion layer 113 flows and a gas discharge channel 121a-2 which enters the gas feed channel 121a-1 and is formed as another channel without continuing to the gas feed channel 121a-1 and through which a reactant gas which flows through the gas diffusion layer 113 and causes catalytic reaction in the membrane-electrode assembly 11 flows; and a ventilation resistance regulation means 121a-3 which allows the ventilation resistance of the gas moving from the gas feed channel 121a-1 to the gas discharge channel 121a-2 to be lower in a gas flow upstream than in a gas flow downstream. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
