<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil kind monitor reducing the deterioration of a reflecting part to the utmost while enhancing a measuring capacity regardless of a simple and inexpensive constitution and achieving the discrimination of an oil kind stable over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: In the oil kind monitor applying near infrared rays to the reflecting part 206 through oil and detecting the near infrared rays reflected from the reflecting part 206 to discriminate the kind of the oil. The reflecting part 206 is constituted by providing a recessed reflecting surface 206d to one side of a transparent member 206a to set both its sides as a transmitting surface 206b and the reflecting surface 206d. Further, the transmitting surface 206b is set as a contact surface with oil while the reflecting surface 206d is set as a non-contact surface with oil to prevent the adhesion of a stain to the transmitting surface 206b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
