<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article collection item quantity determination method and an article collection item quantity determination system capable of correctly collecting an article collecting achievement of each operator and reducing the waiting time for a next process start in a logistics warehouse. <P>SOLUTION: The article collection item quantity determination system 1 consisting of a host computer 2 and a plurality of portable terminals 11-13 is used. The article collection item quantity determination method includes a time storing stage for storing the time when each operator conducts a predetermined operation, a respective item operation time calculation stage for calculating a respective item operation time which is the time that each operator takes to conduct an operation about an item, an average operation time calculation stage for calculating an average operation time per item which is the average value of operation time per item, an article collection item number calculation stage for calculating the number of items to be collected by each operator so that total operation time of each operator becomes equal in a next picking process and an article item number determination stage for determining the number of items for each operator to collect articles in the next picking process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
