PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device with a simple shape for suppressing generation of incompatible sense at adjustment of a tilt position, not increasing the number of parts and capable of reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: When the tilt position of a steering wheel 121 is adjusted, by friction force of a projection part 552 of an operation lever 55 and an outer side surface 332, rotation force R2 in an opposite direction to rotation force R1 applied to a fixed cam 53 is applied to the operation lever 55. Accordingly, the rotation force R1 applied to the fixed cam 53 is offset by the rotation force R2 applied to the operation lever 55. As a result, since flat surfaces 532A, 532B of a rotation-stop part 532 of the fixed cam 53 are smoothly slid along a long groove 35 for adjusting the tilt position, the incompatible sense is suppressed and operation feeling at tilt operation is enhanced.
