PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber and a vehicle having the same, having a simple stricture, and easy in assembling. SOLUTION: A suspension 30 includes: a cylinder 11 for sealing a gas fluid; a piston 12 on which the inside of the cylinder is separated into a first gas chamber 16 on one end side and a second gas chamber 17 on the other end side and slidably inserted inside the cylinder 11; a piston rod 13 extending in the axial direction of the cylinder 11, arranging the piston 12 on one end side and projecting a part of the other end side from one end of the cylinder 11; a bracket 24 arranged on the one end side of the cylinder 11 and installed on the other end side of the piston rod 13; a bracket 23 arranged on the other end side of the cylinder 11; and a sealing mechanism 20 for sealing the gas fluid inside the cylinder 11.
