PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type concentrator wherein malodor in an outer shell member smoothly flows to be discharged to the outside, deodorizing is efficiently performed, and damage due to corrosive gas is prevented. SOLUTION: The belt type concentrator 10 is provided with an odor-proof cover 24 covering the outside thereof. A sludge discharge part 15 discharging concentrating object sludge 12 fed onto a turnable endless belt 11 and dehydrated while being carried downstream, is provided at a position corresponding to a downstream end of the endless belt 11. The odor-proof cover 24 is provided with an exhaust port 41 sucking inner malodors A, B and discharging, and an air sucking port 43 introducing outside air C into the inside. The exhaust port 41 is located above the sludge discharge part 15, and the air sucking port 43 is located on the feed part side where the concentrating object sludge 12 is fed onto the endless belt 11.
