PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container stand by which a lid of a container can stably and surely be held, and also a worker can be prevented from being required to contact with the lid or the container as much as possible when removing the lid. SOLUTION: This container stand includes a supporting section 3 which supports the container B1, a holding section 4 which holds the lid B2, and a strut section 2 which supports the supporting section 3 and the holding section 4. The holding section 4 includes contact sections 42a and 44a which come into contact with the external edge and the internal edge, facing each other, of a raised section U on the periphery of the lid B2, respectively, an external edge moving section 42 and an internal edge moving section 44 which make the contact sections 42a and 44a advance/retract in the approaching/separating direction to the external edge and the internal edge of the raised section U, respectively, and a fixed section 41 and a screw 45 which are installed on the inside of the lid B2 when viewed from the plane direction and adjust the positions of the external edge moving section 42 and the internal edge moving section 44.
