<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap having air permeability improved while keeping shading properties. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cap is obtained by attaching a mesh cloth 20 at least to a part of the back surface of a crown front-side fabric 10 made of a shading material, forming at least two opening parts O<SB>1</SB>and O<SB>2</SB>for ventilation in the parts of the crown front-side fabric 10 to which the mesh cloth 20 is attached, making a space formed between the crown front-side fabric 10 and the mesh cloth 20 communicate with the opening parts O<SB>1</SB>and O<SB>2</SB>for ventilation so that the air introduced from the opening part O<SB>1</SB>for ventilation or the opening part O<SB>2</SB>for ventilation to the space may be taken out from the opening part O<SB>2</SB>for ventilation or the opening part O<SB>1</SB>for the ventilation.
