<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for a two wheeler performing stable and effective braking by securing the ground load of a rear wheel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the brake device for the two wheeler including a vehicle body deceleration calculating means calculating the deceleration of a vehicle body; a hydraulic pressure control means controlling the hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic pressure generating means provided to the wheels; and a control unit controlling the hydraulic pressure control means, the control unit has a target deceleration setting means, and the vehicle body deceleration is concluded to be the target deceleration by at least decompressing the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic control means provided to the front wheel.
