PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method of providing search function are provided to perform application execution and a region where information is inputted with the kind of the application. CONSTITUTION: A controller(180) offers an input area for the input of the information to a display(151). If first information is inputted through the input area, the controller connects to internet through an internet module. The controller executes a web search through the first information. The controller searches the data from the memory(160). The data comprises the first information. If second information is inputted, the controller uses the second information as an internet access path.
