<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro fluid chip capable of applying a reaction reagent to the entire region of a channel without greatly disturbing the separation state of an analysis target especially even at the starting point of application of the reaction reagent, and to provide an analysis method using the chip. <P>SOLUTION: The micro fluid chip includes: a channel that separates an analysis target substance by electrophoresis and is provided on the surface of a substrate section to add the reaction reagent to the analysis target substance separated by the electrophoresis by a nozzle; and an absorption region that is provided on the surface of the substrate section excluding the channel and absorbs the reaction reagent.
