PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device that achieves a large zoom ratio by a simple configuration and is excellent in handleability. SOLUTION: The camera device 10 includes a base 16, an outer case 18, an inner case 20, a camera part 22, a first drive part 24, a second drive part 26 and a conversion lens 28. The outer case 18 is rotatably provided on the base 16 around a first virtual axis L1 passing through the base 16. The inner case 20 is rotatably provided on the outer case 18 around a second virtual axis L2 extending on a plane crossing the first virtual axis L1. The camera part 22 is housed in the inner case 20, and the outer cover 18 is provided with the conversion lens 28. By rotating the inner case 20 and positioning the optical axis of an imaging optical system 40 at a conversion lens using position matched with the optical axis of the conversion lens 28, imaging using the conversion lens 28 is performed.
