<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus capable of reliably ejecting an optical disk without being caught, even when ejecting the optical disk deformed like a sedge hat. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical disk apparatus 1 includes: a rotary driving part 3 which performs rotary driving of the optical disk inserted from a slot 23a with the optical disk mounted thereon; a conveyance roller which is provided in the vicinity of the slot 23a and conveys the optical disk; and an assist drive arm 74 which is provided in rear of the inside of a case 2 and guides the optical disk when inserting and ejecting the optical disk. When inserting the optical disk, the conveyance roller conveys the optical disk to the rotary driving part 3 in cooperation with the assist drive arm 74. When ejecting the optical disk, the conveyance roller lifts the front end of the optical disk from below, and the assist drive arm 74 lifts the rear end of the optical disk from below to convey the optical disk to the slot 23a while the assist drive arm 74 and the conveyance roller are in synchronization with each other.
