<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving machine capable of switching to a continuous driving state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This driving machine includes a trigger arm 13 for starting a starting part 14 according to the rotating operation of a trigger 12 pivotally supported on a housing 2 in a rotary shaft part 12A, a contact arm 32 engaged with the trigger arm 13, and a switching mechanism provided in the rotary shaft part 12A and in the vicinity of the rotary shaft part 12A to move the trigger arm 13 to first advancing/retreating region and second advancing/retreating region approached or separated to/from the rotary shaft part 12A in cooperation with a spring 13B for energizing the trigger arm 13 to the rotary shaft part 12A side. In the driving machine, the trigger arm 13 and the contact arm 32 are engaged with each other after also the rotating operation of the trigger 12 in a state of the trigger arm 13 located in the first advancing/retreating region, and the trigger arm 13 and the contact arm 32 are disengaged with each other after the rotating operation of the trigger 12 in a state of the trigger arm 13 located in the second advancing/retreating region.
