<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for appropriately selecting acoustic information to be added to language information. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The communication system includes: a first acquisition section 110 for acquiring transmission status information including transmission date/time information or transmission position information; a second acquisition section 120 for acquiring language status information including language date/time information or language position information, by analyzing a plurality of character strings configuring the language information; a selection section 140 for selecting the candidates of the acoustic information to be added to the language information, based on the transmission status information and the language status information; and a presentation section 150 for presenting a user of a provision device or a reading device with the acoustic information selected by the selection section 140.
