PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner securing an effective air-duct area while utilizing the gauge of a hose. SOLUTION: The outer periphery of the base end side of the bellow-shaped hose 46 is screwed to a hose ring 52 with an inner diameter equal to or larger than that of the hose 46. The hose ring 52 is inserted in the front end side of an insertion body 51 with an inner diameter equal to or larger than that of the hose 46. The hose ring 52 is fixed to the insertion body 51 on the outer periphery of the hose 46 by a stopper ring 53 with an inner diameter equal to or larger than that of the hose 46. The gauge from the hose 46 to a cleaner suction opening can be formed without decreasing the inner diameter, thereby securing the effective air-duct area while utilizing the gauge of the hose 46.
