PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel distance measuring system enabling extremely point-blank distance measuring to be performed. SOLUTION: A determining section 3 divides a receiving waveform generated by a pulse radar 1 into a plurality of zones on time base and determines a phase pattern of the receiving waveform based on a size relation of an integrated value of the receiving waveform in each of the divided zones. A distance measuring section 4 specifies a phase pattern appearing in a known distance of a target, and calculates a variation from the known distance based on replication of the phase pattern, thereby calculating a current distance of the target.
