<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell with a stable and high output (power generation performance) and capable of size reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 1 is provided with an MEA 10 having an anode (a fuel electrode) 13, a cathode (an air electrode) 16 and an electrolyte membrane 17 pinched between them, and a fuel supply mechanism 30 arranged on an anode side of the MEA 10.
