RUSH CURRENT CONTROL CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the prior art requiring to adopt FET having ASO characteristics according to a large current and this increases the cost of a power supply circuit.

SOLUTION: A rush current control circuit includes: FET (Field Effect Transistor) that controls a current flowing from a power supply to a load; a reference voltage generation circuit that varies a reference voltage for detecting overcurrent to the load; an overcurrent detection circuit that converts a current passed through the load into voltage and detects whether this voltage is higher than the reference voltage generated by the reference voltage generation circuit; and an overcurrent shutdown circuit that controls turn-on/off of the FET according to the results of detection by the overcurrent detection circuit.
