<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply device in which a driving part is not required for each of a mechanism for moving a container, a sealing member opening/closing mechanism and a conveying member individually, so as to achieve space saving of the driving part. <P>SOLUTION: The developer supply device 400 includes: a developer supply container 1 which has a sealing member 2 capable of opening/closing a developer discharge port, in which developer is contained and also which is detachably attached to a copying machine body; the mechanism for moving the container 533 which moves the developer supply container 1 to a developer supply position; the sealing member opening/closing mechanism 530 for opening/closing the sealing member 2; and a baffle which conveys the developer inside the developer supply container 1. The developer supply device 400 includes: one motor which can drive the mechanism for moving the container 533, the sealing member opening/closing mechanism 530 and the baffle; and one drive switching device 212 which can switch a transmission path of driving force of the motor between a mechanism driven in a series of operation such as the mechanism for moving the container 533 or the sealing member opening/closing mechanism 530 and the baffle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
