PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly eliminate a state where how water is removed from a circulation path, in a bath device in which the circulation path where hot water is circulated by a circulating pump is arranged between a bathtub and a water heater. SOLUTION: The circulation path 3 for circulating hot water W by the circulating pump 4 is arranged between the bathtub 1 and the water heater 2. The bath device is provided with a controller 9 connected to the circulating pump 4. The controller 9 has a rotational frequency detection part 9b for detecting the rotational frequency of the circulating pump 4. When the rotational frequency detection part 9b detects that the rotational frequency of the circulating pump 4 exceeds appropriate rotational frequency at an initial stage of the rotation of the circulating pump 4, the controller 10 stops the rotation of the circulating pump 4 and instructs pouring of the hot water W to the circulation path 3.
