PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus in which a user figures out a correspondence relation between an original and web page information. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus MFP includes: a reader 112 for reading each of a plurality of originals and acquiring an original image; a first extracting means 100A for extracting characters from the original image; a second extracting means 100B for extracting a web address from the characters; an acquiring means 100C for acquiring web page information corresponding to the web address by using a web browser; a first generating means 100D for generating a combined image by combining the original image and the web page information; and a second generating means 100E for generating an index indicating the correspondence relation between the original image and the web page information in the combined image.
