PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector easy to be molded with the number of components held to a minimum, capable of fully exhibiting its intrinsic function, and also capable of using a high-intensity material such as glass-containing resin for a connector housing. SOLUTION: In the connector for secondarily locking a terminal by being pushed into a retainer 50 from a side of the connector housing 10 in a direction crossing a terminal container and then pressed in the retainer 50 from a temporary locking position to a proper locking position, a position-locking lance 67 is integrally built together with a secondary locking part 68 in a secondary locking retainer 50, and the lance 67 is so set to face the inside of the terminal container 18 at least when the retainer 50 is at the temporary locking position.
