PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment management device acquiring detail equipment information from management object equipment of the other company, an equipment management system, an equipment information acquisition method, an equipment information acquisition program, and a recording medium recording the program. SOLUTION: The equipment management device 100, which is configured to monitor the states of equipment 200 (own company) and/or 300 (other company) connected through a predetermined data transmission path 90 and manages the equipment 200 and/or 300 based on equipment information 31 including state information, includes: a discrimination means 212 which discriminates a vender that is a manufacturing source of the equipment 200 and/or 300 based on information for identifying the kind of equipment acquired from the equipment 200 and/or 300; a specification means 211 which specifies an acquisition program for acquiring the equipment information 31 from the equipment 200 and/or 300, and a parameter designating the equipment information 31 to be acquired based on the discrimination result; and an execution means 214 which executes the acquisition program according to the specified parameter.
