<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof case capable of unfailingly preventing water from permeating the inside. <P>SOLUTION: The waterproof case 1 configuring an electric connection box has: a case body 2; an upper cover 3 for covering an opening portion positioned on the upper part of the case body 2; a lower cover 4 for covering an opening portion positioned on the lower part of the case body 2; and a waterproof shield 5. The waterproof shield 5 includes a column portion 50 provided upright like a column from the case body 2, and a plate-like shield portion 55 continuing to the end of the column portion 50 and disposed on the outside of both a joint 6 between the case body 2 and the upper cover 3 and a joint 7 between the case body 2 and the lower cover 4. Also, in the waterproof shield 5, a plurality of surfaces 51, 52, 53 and 54 inclined in a direction of approaching the joints 6, 7 toward from a center 56 of the shield portion 55 toward the outer edge are provided on the surface of the shield portion 55 which is spaced from the joints 6, 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
