<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure excellent workability in confirming a photographic image just after a photographing operation even while an EVF is used as a finder in a configuration including an LCD and the EVF. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A key processing section 11 includes a finder changeover switch for setting whether an LCD 8 or an EVF 9 is to be used as a finder while a recording mode for photographing is set. When displaying a photographic image captured in response to a photographing instruction from a user during the recording mode just after photographing, even while the EVF 9 is used as a finder, a CPU 10 displays the photographic image on the LCD 8. The user is enabled to confirm the detailed photographic image on a larger monitor-side screen just after photographing even without performing a finder switching operation.
