PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell electric power generator suppressing an increase in transportation cost resulting from heat insulation of electrolyte, and starting operation of the fuel cell electric power generator quickly after being permanently installed.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell electric power generator shown in Fig.1 includes a fuel cell stack 100, an electric heater 140, a chemical reaction heat generation unit 150, and a chemical reaction control unit. The chemical reaction control unit includes a pump control unit 200, a battery 210, and a pump 230. The fuel cell stack 100 has a structure in which an air electrode, an electrolyte layer, and a fuel electrode are stacked. The electric heater 140 keeps the electrolyte layer of the fuel cell stack 100 warm. The chemical reaction heat generation unit 150 keeps the electrolyte layer warm by a chemical reaction. The chemical reaction control unit monitors whether a current flows in the electric heater 140, and when interruption of conduction is detected, the chemical reaction is developed at the chemical reaction heat generation unit 150.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
