<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition having excellent storage stability and curability and giving an image having excellent rubfastness, and to provide an inkjet recording method and a printed matter to use the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition contains (A) a pigment, (B) a polymeric dispersant, (C) a dispersion aid, (D) a cationically polymerizable compound and (E) a cationic polymerization initiator, wherein the dispersion aid (C) is a pigment derivative having a cationically polymerizable group.
