PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quick and accurate one-man piping work for underground power cable protecting tubes.
SOLUTION: A draw-in-type piping tool for underground power cable protecting tubes includes: a pantograph jack (J) installed and fixed in an existing protecting tube (Pa); an extension rod (R) for rotationally operating the horizontal threaded shaft (12) of the jack; a puller (fastener) (A) that pulls a chain (25) coupled to the tip of the extension rod from behind a new protecting tube (Pb) butted against the existing tube; and a centering fixed way (M) including an insertion port cylinder (30) inserted into the new protecting tube from behind to support the puller and a pressing flange (31), large in diameter, jutting out of the base end of the insertion port cylinder. The chain is pulled along the identical longitudinal center line (X-X) of the existing protecting tube and the new protecting tube and used and a joint (2) of either of the tubes is thereby pulled into an insertion part (3) of the other and they are coupled together.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
