<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide weather station 20 capable of appropriately transmitting a change in a weather status while relieving an air traffic. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In S61, S62, S63, S64 and S65, a weather observation apparatus 25 determines whether or not each of present rainfall, temperature, wind direction, wind velocity, air pressure and humidity observed at each position are included in a range corresponding to a shortest transmission time interval of a weather information packet. The range corresponding to the shortest transmission time interval of the weather information packet is set to a value range of each weather item in the case of a bad weather. If determinations of all of S61, S62, S63, S64 and S65 are NO, a process moves to S66 and if at least one of the determinations is YES, the process moves to S67. The transmission time interval is set to the one preset by a user and, in S67, the time interval is set to a shortest time regardless of the one preset by the user.
