<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate service life of a compressor by reducing frequency of drive and stop of the compressor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this cooling storage, when solenoid valves 151, 152 for a refrigerating compartment 51 and a freezing compartment 52 are closed, drive of the compressor 12 is stopped. During operation of the compressor 12, in the case where one of detection temperatures D1, D2 of the refrigerating compartment 51 and the freezing compartment 52 becomes off temperature Df1, Df2 or lower, while the solenoid valve 151, 152 corresponding to the other of the refrigerating compartment 51 or the freezing compartment 52 is closed, the solenoid valve 151, 152 corresponding to one of the refrigerating compartment 51 or the freezing compartment 52, which becomes the off temperature Df1, Df2 or lower, is closed, and the solenoid valve 151, 152 corresponding to the other of the refrigerating compartment 51 or the freezing compartment 52 is opened, so as to continue the operation of the compressor 12. Then, when the detection temperature D1, D2 of the other of the refrigerating compartment 51 or the freezing compartment 52 becomes the off temperature Df1, Df2 or lower, the solenoid valve 151, 152 corresponding to the other of the refrigerating compartment 51 or the freezing compartment 52 is closed and the compressor 12 is stopped.
