<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a resistance force adding means by reduced number of parts simply in a throttle opening detection apparatus for a saddle-type vehicle constituted to support a throttle pipe fixed on a bar handle on an end part of the bar handle turnably, and add resistance force to the turning operation of a throttle grip being unable to turn relatively with the throttle pipe by the resistance force adding means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The resistance force adding means 32 is composed of a collar part 13b provided on the throttle pipe 13 supported on the bar handle 11 to move in the axial direction, overhanging outward in the radial direction, and arranged in a case 12, a slide member 33 sandwiched between the collar part 13b and the case 12, and a resilient member 34 exerting resilient force for energizing the collar part 13b to press a washer 33 against the case 12.
