<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating with excellent assembling stability by improving shapes of fitting portions at both ends of a main bar. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Connecting hole portions 5 for being connected to the main bar 3 are formed like a vertical slot at regular intervals in a pair of side bars 2. Fitting portions 6 for being fitted into the connecting hole portions 5 are formed in the vertically-facing width-direction intermediate portions of the main bar 3, at both the ends of the main bar 3, respectively. In the fitting portion 6, upper and lower surfaces are horizontal; and a vertical intermediate portion is provided with protrusions 9 and 10 with a sharp end, which is equipped with inclined planes 9a and 10a scraped out in a laterally-facing V-shape and directed to a vertical central portion. Upper and lower end surfaces 3a vertically connected from a base portion of the fitting portion 6 are directed in a vertical direction, and surface-abut on an inner surface of the side bar 2 in the state of fitting the fitting portion 6 into the connecting hole portion 5 of the side bar 2. The leading ends of the protrusions 9 and 10 are caulked from the outer surface side of the side bar 2, and protruded slightly outward from the connecting hole portion 5 so as to fix the main bar 3 to the side bar 2.
