<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card processor capable of responding to a transporter to which no card is attached. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A card processing unit 10 is a device for operating a rewrite card RC to be attached to a tray T into which a pharmaceutical is dispensed, and includes a handling mechanism 20, a second card sensor 42, and a device control section 5. The handling mechanism 20 is a device for attaching/detaching the rewrite card RC with respect to the tray T. The second card sensor 42 can detect the presence/absence of the rewrite card RC.
