PURPOSE: A damage prevention apparatus for the inner perimeter of a coil is provided to improve the quality of a coil and ensure safe transfer of a coil by reducing the friction applied to the contact portion between the coil and a wire. CONSTITUTION: A damage prevention apparatus for the inner perimeter of a coil comprises corner guards(9) which are arranged close to both sides of a coil. The corner guard includes a rectangular side(15) corresponding to the corner where the inner perimeter and the side of the coil meet and a round wire through hole(14) surrounding the rectangular side.
